“The Complainant and the Respondent may choose to be assisted by one (1) Advisor during all stages of the student conduct process.”
– Student Code of Conduct
All students involved in the Student Conduct Process have the fundamental right to an advisor if they wish. Advisors are available to both respondents and complainants. Respondents are students who have allegedly violated our code. Complainants are students who report or begin an investigation within our department. Student Conduct & Community Standards (SCCS) uses a list of trusted and trained community members to help each student utilize an advisor if they wish.
With a variety of student needs and University Advisors’ availability, we regularly look to update our list. If you wish to volunteer your time working directly with students by providing your experience and wisdom, please get in touch with Emily Gorlewski, Max Seisser, or Japheth Taylor.
