Biography

From northern Illinois, Max Seisser comes to Student Conduct and Community Standards after serving as an Academic Coach in the Academic Success Center at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Max has spent his time in higher education supporting students through efforts in sorority and fraternity life, housing, student organizations, and student success.

Max is a 2015 graduate of Monmouth College where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and Public Relations, with a minor in Journalism. Max is a member of Zeta Beta Tau fraternity and served as the president of his chapter as well as the IFC president. In addition, Max earned his Master of Arts in Communication Studies from Northern Illinois University where he focused on interpersonal, organizational, and persuasive communication.

Max’s passion for working in higher education lies in supporting students as they navigate challenges both personally and academically. Max enjoys learning more about each student’s story and encourages them to reflect on their experiences. Outside of work, Max enjoys spending time with his wife, playing golf, and watching sports.
